Discover delicious gin tastings, cocktails and pub-style food at the Meating Room on Saturday 14 May at their Eliksir Gin Fest.

Showcasing an incredible range of gins from Ladbroken Distilling Co’s Eliksir range, the seasonal small-batch gins will be available to try while you sit back and enjoy an afternoon of music and dinner from the Meating Room. Championing their new Autumn spiced apple & fig gin, there will be hot spiced gin and apple pie martinis, as well as classic G&T’s.

Produced by local Weston Creek family, Ladbroken Distilling Co. is handcrafted in Tumbarumba capturing the spirit of the Snowy High Country. Using locally grown produce to create unique spirits, think flavours like blood orange and raspberry.

Owner and gin crafter Robbie Ladbrook has been passionate about distilling for some time, turning her hobby of science, gardening and experimentation into a profession.

“I have fun experimenting in collaboration with local producers and introducing people to the wonderful world of gin production. I craft my gins to tell a delicious story, and for Autumn that means a spiced apple and fig gin that is perfect for sipping by the campfire,” says Robbie.

The Eliksir Gin Fest will give locals the chance to meet Robbie and ask questions about the distilling process while sampling her incredible product.

As for food, if you’re yet to join the Meating Room for a feed, think boss burgers, schnitzels, pizzas and seasonal specials. There will also be heaps of prizes to be won and face painting for the little ones.

Tastings of the Eliksir gins are free to try, make a booking at the Meating Room via https://www.meatingroom.com.au
