The Canberra Cheese Festival is transforming Fyshwick’s Grainger Gallery into a dairy-filled sanctuary from May 8 to May 10. Hosted by Le Cheeserie, this weekend-long event focuses on the very best of the Australian dairy industry, inviting guests to meet the makers behind award-winning cheeses while sipping on premium and local Canberra District wines.
Depending on your appetite, you can opt for the “Market Grazer” ticket for essential samples and a branded cooler bag, or upgrade to “The Big Cheese” to snag a dedicated wine glass for your tastings. With six sessions spread over three days, there is plenty of space to roam the gallery and chat with producers, though pre-booking is highly recommended as sessions often hit capacity.
