The annual AHA ACT Hospitality & Tourism Awards are preparing for another spectacular year celebrating Canberra’s incredible hospo heroes and their achievements. The most prestigious event on the local calendar will recognise excellence in our hotels, pubs, restaurants, bars, cafes and nightclubs through a number of awards and categories.
Running slightly different for 2022, the AHA Awards will see new categories and a new awards night look and feel. This year, winners will receive their awards at a Cocktail Extravaganza on Monday 19 September at the National Arboretum and Discovery Garden. Expected to be bigger than ever, the famous afterparty will be the best cocktail party of 2022.
Under the four awards: People, Experience, Food and Property the new categories will see awards go out for:
- Best Bar
- Best Family Friendly Venue
- Employee Resources Talent
- Housekeeper of the Year
- Best Work Health and Safety Venue and,
- Excellence in Innovation, Sustainability and Environmental Practice
While once again, the most popular awards including Best Restaurant, Steak, Burger and Pub Eatery will be up for grabs.
