Calling out to all the pooches and pooch lovers in Canberra! The RSPCA Million Paws Walk is back again this year for its 20th birthday this Sunday 21 May!

Get ready for some fun party activities for you and your four-legged friend to get involved in, as well as enjoying the famous Lake Burley Griffin walk!

With over 3,000 dogs set to participate this year, the RSPCA believes that this will be the biggest dog party ever! Fighting for animal cruelty is one of the most important issues we face and the RSPCA aims to gather all dog lovers to be a voice and make a stand for animals in need.

All participants will be able to enjoy live entertainment, exciting stalls, delicious food, giveaways, games, and activities for you and your furry friend including musical sit, ring toss, ball bobbing, and a birthday-themed agility course.

Not only is this a great opportunity for you and pup to get some exercise, it’s also vital for the RSPCA’s existence and for the important work they do. Raising essential funds for neglected animals is just the start. The RSPCA is reaching out to Australians to donate to the urgent care for abandoned and abused animals by the Animal Care Services Team.

Last year they saw 1,000 animals in need of love and attention in Canberra alone, and with over $15,000 raised in the ACT already, this year is set to be bigger and better than ever!

Beginning at Stage 88, Commonwealth Park, from 9.00am – 2.30pm, come along and get involved in the fun festivities, and who knows, you and your dog could make some lifetime, furry or not, friends!
