The book will be launched this coming Saturday 15 August from 11:00am – 2:00pm at Cooking Coordinates, Belconnen Fresh Food Markets. David will also be there cooking his own Kangaroo & Beer Sausages for you to sample!

A little big about the Author…

Born in England, David came to Australia in his early teens and began a long and successful career as a butcher, eventually becoming one of Australia’s leading butchery education experts. Forty-five years on, his passion for education and butchery have been linked – he has collected decades of anecdotes, historical facts and professional secrets in to a comprehensive, entertaining guide.

We hear the book is simple, easy to follow and perfect for beginners looking to try their hand at sausage making, with over thirty recipes to choose from. While all of the classic sausage recipes are the book, more unusual highlights inside include; Beef with Cheese & Vegemite Sausage, Kangaroo & Beer Sausage, and Pork with Wild Mushrooms and Truffle Oil. David has even perfected a vegan recipe which will put supermarket-bought vegan snags to shame!
