It’s time to get your monies worth out of your wedding dress – unless you jumped the gun and transformed it into a christening gown for your baby or god forbid doilies for the home.
On Saturday, 28 September the Bride & Groom Ball is set to take place at Realm Hotel – a venue that is no stranger to creating magical weddings. The night will bring the Canberra community together to help raise much needed funds for the Vikings Group Charity of the Year, Marymead. And have a good laugh at the resurrected wedding dresses from the hatchet.
Grab your bridal party, the gang is back together. You can book a table of 10 to enjoy the ball with your loved ones. Tickets include; 3-course meal, drinks and a night full of entertainment, fundraising and unbelievable prizes. This could be your last chance to catch the garter!
The money raised will assist Marymead to build new Care Cottages providing much needed short-term accommodation for children and families both in the ACT and from regional areas of NSW. The needs of the children will vary but will include emergency and crisis accommodation for vulnerable children and families, respite accommodation for young people with disabilities and a place to call home, even for a short period, for those children with nowhere else to go
