A few local venues are welcoming 10 bums on seats others are doing 20 following the ease of restrictions – the number will be based on the venues spaces. The challenge most venues face is providing the space to offer dine in while maintaining the 1.5m social distancing rule, kitchen wastage with the uncertainty of patrons and only feeding 10 -20 people at a time; as well as keeping up with the new delivery/ takeaway which has been implemented. Now is the time to support the venues who have opened, be understanding of those who haven’t and not to expect venues to be running as they previously were. With new restrictions still fresh, some venues are asking you to pre-book, others want walk-ins and some need locals to preorder to ensure stock availability as well as reduced menu’s being offered.
