Elettra at Sydney Town Hall – Friday 14 September

I solemnly swear that I NEED to go to this trivia night! Gather all your fellow wizards and muggles and get to the Hellenic Club for a night filled with quizzical fun! Dildo racing at Young & Frisky – Friday 14 September

Young & Frisky in Gungahlin is hosting an event that will leave you buzzing! From 9 pm, join in on all the fun by competing in the dildo races! There’s live music and $5 basics once the races kick off. So, grab your mates and enjoy the good vibes!

Nomad the Magician at Rose Cottage – Friday 14 September

Add a little magic to your weekend with a jaw-dropping show by Canberra born magician, Nomad. This isn’t your average magic show, with comedy and fun intertwined throughout the act you can prepare to be in awe from start to finish. Tickets are $30 and can be bought at the door of Rose Cottage Canberra.

Southside Farmers Markets – Sunday 16 September

Start your Sunday off in the freshest way possible! Southside Farmers Markets is located on the Canberra College Campus in Woden and boasts stacks of beautifully fresh produce such as fruit and veg, meat, flowers and much more. Whether you’re grabbing your groceries for the week or just browsing the stalls with a coffee in hand, the markets are a great way to support your local farmers as well as brighten up your morning! Check them out every Sunday from 8am-midday.

Chocolate Tasting Event – Saturday 15 September

Calling all choccie lovers! The Property Stylists Canberra and Enigma Fine Chocolates are hosting a chocolate tasting event full of premium chocolate varieties.  Relax and indulge in the range of fine chocolates while learning about their origins and characteristics from the knowledgeable hosts. Capital Brewing Tap Room First Birthday – Sunday 16 September

Ain’t no party like a Capital Brewing Co. party! Capital Brewing Tap Room in Fyshwick are having their first birthday and want you to join in with their celebrations! They’ll be playing live music all day and hosting free brewery tours for the big kids while the little ones can enjoy some face painting and a petting zoo. The American Car Nationals – Saturday 15 & Sunday 16 September

If you love American cars, make sure you’re at the American Car Nationals this weekend. With plenty of different makes, models and machinery, there’s something for every rev head. As well as the American Car Nationals, the Queanbeyan swap meet will also be going on as usual to boost your weekly car intake. This all goes down at the Queanbeyan showground where entry is $4.
