Ocean Alley at the Canberra Theatre Centre – Friday 5 & Saturday 6 February

Australia’s beloved funk-lords Ocean Alley are coming to Canberra for two epic performances at the Canberra Theatre Centre. Winning the Triple J Hottest 100 in 2018 for their song Confidence and debuting #1 on the ARIA Vinyl Chart for their third LP Lonely Diamond in 2020, the band are a must-see live performance. Jodi Phillis at Smith’s Alternative – Saturday 6 February

Singer/songwriter Jodi Phillis from the indie act The Clouds has maintained a prolific and multi-faceted career as a solo artist, a member of The Dearhunters, Roger Loves Betty and The Glamma Rays and as a composer of the screen and stage. On the night she will be showcasing songs from her forthcoming solo album and will be joined by guitarist, collaborator and award-winning composer Damien Lane. Tickets can be bought here.

Whisky Tasting at Hippo Co – Saturday 6 February

Join Hippo Co for their weekly whisky tasting Saturday night from 6pm. The team are experts on all things Scotch, American, Irish and international whisky and will take you through 6 whiskies from around the world while you enjoy the flavours and learn about the history, production and tasting techniques. The annual SoundOut Festival is back for its 12th year at the ANU Drill Hall Gallery bringing you incredible experimental sonic arts performances.
