Penfolds Wine Dinner at The Lakes – Fri 10 May
Gungahlin Lakes Club is proud to be presenting a Wine Dinner in collaboration with Penfolds. The event will begin with a selection of canapés followed by a four-course menu crafted by their Executive Chef, Peter Robinson, and each course will be paired with a Penfolds fine wine. Guests will also enjoy the knowledge of a Penfolds Fine Wine Ambassador. The ambassador will offer insights into individual wine tasting notes and the wine-making process. Greenway Fitness Precinct Open Day – Sat 11 May
Greenway is about to heat up with an all-new Fitness Precinct! Combining HIIT Republic, Psycle Life and Studio by Club Lime, there is something to suit all fitness lovers! Netier National Capital Rally – Sat 11 May
It’s that time again for round 3 of the Netier National Capital Rally! From 9am – 5pm, view some of the best racing in the capital! The National Capital Rally has been promoted by the Brindabella Motor Sports Club and been running continuously since 1995. In 2019 the tradition of presenting a popular and safe event with the support of both the ACT Government and the local forestry continues. This time round it will be held at Cotter Forrest. Mutts and Mums – Sat 11 May

Mother’s Day Classic – Sun 12 May
For all the active mum’s out there, the Mother’s Day Classic is back! Choose to walk, jog, run, skip or jump and have fun while you’re at it! All proceeds go towards raising money for breast cancer research. The run will kick off at Rond Terraces along Lake Burley Griffin at 7am. Register here for the 5km walk, 5km run or 10km run!
Suitcase Rummage in Canberra – Sun 12 May
Suitcase Rummage is back in Canberra, in the ever delightful, NewActon Precinct! Suitcase Rummage is a sustainable market alternative that heralds recycling and conscious consumption. It promises to be everything that is a market but without the hassle. It’s about bringing a suitcase (or three!) filled to the brim with all sorts of treasures. From 11am – 3pm, you can be a part of the Rummage experience by selling your secondhand or handmade wares here or come along to buy some real beauties!
