Merry & Bright Outdoor Cinema- Friday 21st December
Movie nights are better when they’re free! The final night for the Merry & Bright Christmas in Civic is this Friday. Join in the fun at Glebe Park in the City for a Christmas movie screening of Arthur Christmas. There will be snack food vendors including popcorn, ice-cream and more! Prada’s Priscillas: An All-Male Christmas Revue- Friday 21st December
At the Canberra Theatre Centre, Prada’s Priscillas will take the audience through a musical journey in the 90-minute drag extravaganza with songs from the famous Les Girls of Kings Cross in the 60s, Priscilla Queen of the Desert in the 90s, and todays music icons. Big feathered numbers will light up the stage including crowd favourites I love Nightlife, Shake Your Groove Thing and I Will Survive, and hits that we know and love from Cher, Mariah Carey and Barbara Streisand. Prada’s Priscillas will also bring the Christmas cheer with our favourite Christmas songs Jingle Bell Rock, All I Want For Christmas is You and more! Last Minute Christmas Wine Market- Saturday 22nd December
Buy all your Christmas gifts in one spot at the iconic Nishi Grand Stair and Makeshift in the New Acton Precinct. From 3- 6pm, it will be turned into a stall extravaganza with vendors selling wines, spirits, chocolates, books, plants and fresh produce- all from the Canberra Region. Cooleman Court in Weston Creek is bursting with Christmas Cheers all weekend long! You can take a photo for free with Santa Claus who will be roaming around the centre as you shop for Christmas gifts. Photos will be sent directly to your email address! You can catch Santa on Friday 3 – 6pm, Saturday & Sunday 10am – 2pm. Sit down with Mrs Claus for Story Time on Saturday from 10am – 12pm in the Ground Floor Centre Court. To make a difference this Christmas, you can donate a new, unwrapped gift for an adult or child with all proceeds going to Communities@Work to help disadvantaged families and children. Canberra Outlet Centre Gift Wrapping, Extended Shopping & Meet the Grinch- Friday 21st – Sunday 23rd
Our favourite destination to grab a sweet bargain is turning festive throughout the Christmas season. From the 20th December, they’re offering a gift-wrapping service from 11am – 3pm so you have one less thing to worry about this Christmas! Located near SuperGrocer and for just a gold coin donation, have your presents wrapped and ready for the tree. The Grinch is also paying a visit inviting all the naughty kids to visit him and snap a photo from 11am-2pm all weekend long. Located in Whoville near Harris Scarfe, meet him for just a gold coin donation to support Marymead. Been so busy you haven’t got your annual Christmas photos yet? Santa is visiting straight from the North Pole everyday from 9am – 6pm on Saturday and 9am – 5pm on Sunday.
