Lights! Canberra! Action! Will once again celebrate local short films at the open-air surrounds of the Senate Rose Gardens. With only 10 days to film and feature 10 items from around Canberra, see an array of up-and-coming local film makers share their perspective and interpretation of the year’s theme – Reflection! The Forage – Friday 11 to Monday 14 March

After a two-year halt, The Forage is back and has teamed up with Enlighten to deliver all things local and regional food! Taking a new spot at the National Triangle, the market will host more than 25 local businesses from Agostinis, Fricken Chicken, Miss Vans, Cannoli Brothers, Canberra Distillery, House of Bubbles and Spitz and Co. Pialligo Estate x Underground Spirits Secret Gin Garden – Friday 11 to Monday 14 March

Pialligo Estate and Underground Spirits have teamed up to welcome you to the Secret Gin Garden – a private garden party with a gin board and canapés. Located at Old Parliament House, a range of drinks, including a collaborative gin and snacks with oysters and charcuterie will also be available to purchase. Enlighten Festival – Friday 11 to Monday 14 March

Lighting up Canberra every March, the Enlighten Festival is back for 17 days of arts and cultural events and entertainment. Spoken Word Workshop for Writers and Poets – Saturday 12 March

Love spoken word poetry? Sign up for a two-part workshop series at Gorman Art Centre with award-winning poet, playwright and author Joelle Taylor and local poet Jacqui Mallins and develop your skills. Hosting their first session this Saturday, gather online for a workshop with Joelle from 1-3pm, followed by a face-to-face session on 26 March. Canberra Balloon Spectacular – Saturday 12 to Monday 14 March

One of Canberra’s favourite events, the Balloon Spectacular will see over 25 balloons take flight over Canberra’s skyline for nine days.
