Crooked Colours at UC refectory – Friday 7 June

After wowing audiences at St Jerome Laneway Festival and Groovin’ The Moo Festival, the indie electronic trio Crooked Colours are coming to Canberra for one memorable concert. Put on your suit and tie and slip on your tallest heels for an afternoon of watching the horse races. Yours & Owls: Ruby Fields – Friday 7 June

Placing number 8 on the Triple J’s Hottest 100 this year, Australian Singer-Songwriter Ruby Fields is showcasing her pop-grunge style music at the Kambri Precinct at ANU. The concert kicks off at 8pm with special guests. Tickets are $30 and are available here.

Monet’s Tea Salon – Friday 7-10 June

In honour of their new exhibition the National Gallery of Australia will be hosting a high tea amongst their mesmerising art collection. Choose from two session times at 11am-1pm or 2-4pm and enjoy delicate savoury and sweet treats with champagne and catch up with friends as you soak up the atmosphere. Saturday Night Drinks at QT Hotel – Saturday 8 June

Kick off the long weekend with Saturday night drinks at the QT Hotel’s Capitol Bar and Grill at 7pm. Truffle Infused Weekends at Mount Majura Vineyard – 8-9 June

Savour the flavours and aromas of the delightful truffle this truffle season at Mount Majura Vineyard. Located right next door to The Truffle Farm where their truffles are sourced, there is no better place to try the highly prized gems. The Class of 89: Rock & Roll Circus Tour – Saturday 8 June

The Rock & Roll Circus Tour rolls in to Canberra this year for a two hour concert at the Canberra Theatre Centre at 8pm. The production celebrates the talent and the hits of the original stars of rock N’ Roll, including Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis and many more. The Long weekend calls for a weekend away, drive to the Central Coast in NSW for the Harvest Festival on Saturday and Sunday. Bring your dog to the movies day! Treat your dog to this special dog friendly screening of The Secret Life of Pets 2 with Pupcorn. Photo Skills: Editing Techniques – Monday 10 June

Make your Instagram profile picture perfect with this photo-editing class. At the Apple Store in the Canberra Centre learn editing techniques using the photos app on iPhone and iPad. You will be shown how to make quick edits, crops to photos, adjustments by using filters, manipulating levels of light, adding colour and more.
