Star Wars Burlesque is coming to the capital with The Empire Strips Back, a show that is one part seduction, one part comedy.
In 2011 Russall S. Beattie created the first run of Star Wars Burlesque in Sydney. It was booked in a 150 capacity room with the expectation that he might get three nights out of it. Those three nights sold out in record time and the show has since succeeded beyond any expectations.
Four national tours and one complete overhaul later, the show has delighted an audience of more than 50,000 people since then. An international tour is planned, with the show heading overseas indefinitely when the latest Australian tour ending.
