Gold Logie Winner and Australian of the Year 2018 Nominee Samuel Johnson is hosting a charity golf day in Canberra to raise money for Johnson’s Love Your Sister Foundation and help find the cure for cancer.
The event at Gunaghlin Lakes Club on Thursday 29 March will be hosted by Johnson alongside Rutledge AV’s ACT General Manager Craig Glover.
The day’s events will include nine holes of golf, with players having the chance to tee off with Johnson.
Mr Glover said the event was a way for Rutledge AV to give back to the community and help with a great cause.
“Love Your Sister has already made great strides for cancer research and we’re proud to be able to work with Samuel and the Foundation to further this, on what will be a really special day,” Mr Glover said.
Tickets are just $250 per person and include breakfast and a corporate lunch. All proceeds raised will go to Love Your Sister.
The Love Your Sister Foundation was created by the late Connie Johnson, along with her brother Samuel, to raise awareness about cancer and aid in the research for a cure.
