Tripadvisor has unveiled the winners of its 2020 Travellers’ Choice awards – the same awards that saw Sage Dining Rooms awarded best fine dining restaurant in the nation, also highlighted local, and family-owned East Hotel ranked in the top 25 hotels in Australia for 2020.
Now more than ever it’s important to celebrate the fierce competition coming out of the Capital’s hospitality and tourism scene – East Hotel being hot on both accounts with Joe’s Bar and Agostinis enhancing the hotel’s offering and cementing East as 23rd in the country.
After pivoting their offering during Covid and sharing renowned Chef Francesco Balestrieri kitchen secrets with take home recipe packs, staycations, having staff jump into delivery mode and offering freebies like focaccias and toilet paper, the family-run business pulled through and proved well deserving of this achievement.
As this week is East Hotel’s 8th birthday the accolade is headed straight to the pool room.
