RSPCA ACT is proud to launch the first ever Paw-lympic Games held at this year’s Million Paws Walk. Members of the public and their four-legged friend can win gold in events such as hurdles, relay, cross country, weightlifting and shot put.

There will be plenty of prizes up for grabs so start training now to get involved after you and your four legged friend complete the Walk!

All funds raised from registering for the walk will help animals currently in care at the RSPCA Weston shelter.

Million Paws Walk is held this Sunday, 9am at Stage 88, Commonwealth Park. Members of the public can register here or the morning of the walk.

Enjoy a beautiful walk alongside Lake Burley Griffin on a stunning Canberra Autumn day with your pooch!

Million Paws Walk is for every paw young or old! This year for the first time we will be hosting a shorter walk option for those who can’t handle the BIG paws walk from bridge to bridge. The walk will begin at the same time but will be a leisurely stroll around Nerang Pool.

Everyone is welcome! You don’t need to live in Canberra, or own a dog. Many participants
come from Braidwood, Queanbeyan, Yass and other surrounding areas. Just joining in will help make a huge difference to the thousands of animals we care for each year!
