Grapes of Mirth returns to Canberra Sunday 1 December, 12-6pm. Five of Australia’s best comedians and host Merrick Watts will make their way to Pialligo Estate for 6-hours of comedy, music, wine, gourmet grub and the most amazing festival vibes.
An entire afternoon of entertainment, as lovers of comedy and wine sprawl out across the grounds at beautiful Pialligo Estate; with their garden pavilions, olive grove, vineyard, orchard, award-winning smokehouse products – the perfect place to host an outdoor comedy festival.
Pialligo Estate’s beautiful grounds will be set up with areas to accommodate picnic blankets, low and high back foldable chairs. BYO picnic rugs and foldable chairs, to make yourself nice and comfortable for the day. No need to bring food or drink, Pialligo’s fine drops of wine will be pouring all day, plus a lineup of award-winning charcuterie, antipasto and BBQ meats.
Grapes of Mirth provides the ultimate festival day with five headline comedy sets from LOL wizards Tom Ballard, Becky Lucas, Nick Cody, Nikki Britton, Merrick Watts and one surprise comedic act yet to be announced.
There will also be a host with the most keeping the vibe alive, and some sweet DJ tunes brought to you by the one and only, DJ Pedro Moshman, to keep you entertained before, between, and after the comedy has ended.
This is an 18+ event, because there are comedians involved, and well, because there are comedians involved.
