Step out of the normative scenery of a fashion show and delve into an experience that brings together world-class fashion and a one-of-a-kind local setting.

On April 8, Kingston’s retail outlet and studio, CARDIF Collective, is hosting a fashion event that will bring fashion to the streets and flip the normal convention of a runway inside out.

Transporting a fashion runway out into the service alleyway of Highgate Lane in Kingston, CARDIF Collective has teamed up with other local artists in the capital to offer a new kind of fashion experience that will raise money and awareness for the Heart Foundation.

Alongside the proceeds to the charity, a silent auction will also take place in an effort to raise funds for local sustainable furniture business boyangirlco’s Lost and Found initiative, in support of domestic violence survivors. Local auctioneer Richard Luton, of Luton Properties, will be hosting the auction.

This event will play host to more than 15 Canberra local designers who are showcasing their Autumn/Winter collections for the new year. Labels include Hunter The Label (pictured)Zilpah Tart, new debut label Thunder Thighs and CARDIF Collective presenting pieces from artists stocked in store.

From walls to walkways, this event will immerse you in art from head to toe. Alongside the fashion on the catwalk, the event will also be an exhibition of artwork from M16 Gallery.

The event pricing starts at $35, with special VIP options available for selection during purchase. Click here to purchase tickets and fill in a form to express your interest.

So, for all our fashion-forward readers, or those of you who just enjoy art in itself, this event is for you!
