Canberra landmarks will be lit up in purple for a good cause from Monday 19 to Monday 26 March.

Epilepsy ACT will light key landmarks across Canberra purple to raise awareness and support for the 8,000 Canberrans living with epilepsy.

The sites include the National Portrait Gallery, The Carillion, Old Parliament House, Questacon, the Royal Australian Mint and Kings Ave overpass.

The lights will be on every night including Monday 26 March, Purple Day, an international day of recognition and awareness for those living with epilepsy.

Epilepsy ACT have organised the light show to help Canberrans get involved and support those living with epilepsy, which often goes unrecognised, undiagnosed and untreated until a seizure occurs.
