It’s the time of year that you have something on every weekend, but you’re happy about it because the weather is good, the year is winding down and what better way to spend your weekend than with a beer, wine bbq combo!

The inaugural Canberra Beer, Wine & Barbeque Festival is on Saturday 8 December at Goolabri’s newest event space “The Wedgetail Pavilion” located against the backdrop of raw Australian bushland in Sutton.

Local breweries, wineries and all things barbecue will be set up in some of the nation’s finest barbecue stalls from a variety of different cultures will be there to provide everything from spit roasted and smoked meats, all the way down to the humble sausage sandwich and even some vegetarian options!

Canberra’s rapidly emerging winery and brewery scene has produced some incredible wines and fantastic craft beers. Taste them for yourself and meet the owners as the best of what Canberra has to offer will all be in the one place.

The Festival will have multiple attractions to suit all ages including some of Canberra’s best bands, fresh local produce, cooking demonstrations, a variety of market stalls as well as jumping castles and activities to keep those kiddies happy.

Starting at midday and finishing up around 9pm, there will be plenty of time to bring out the family or even do a solo mission to meet like-minded people that enjoy tantalising food, craft beer and cider, delicious local wines and live music.
