This English pub has serviced north Canberra with warm, old fashioned service for more than three decades and to celebrate, you’re invited to The George‘s 30th birthday celebration this Sunday.

The team aren’t just celebrating a milestone birthday, they’ll also be unveiling some pretty impressive renovations; including a new outdoor area, double French doors separating the indoor and outdoor areas, brand new indoor bar, increased bathroom facilities and much more.

Dan Banks Band, one of Canberra’s most loved bands returned to the capital to launch their brand new single, ‘She Got Me’ at Transit Bar on Saturday 14 August, 2010.

The venue was packed and Dan Banks and his crew were well received by fans and first-time listeners alike.
