Canberran creates New Yorker following

Canberra interior design graduate, Gracie Turtle, has recently launched her own jewellery label Grazy Design in Brooklyn, New York.

The Canberran is currently residing in New York on a working holiday, interning at Ecosystems, a sustainable design agency in Brooklyn.

Since launching The Urban Natives: By Grazy Design at New York’s young designer market, The Market NYC, Gracie has formed a following of keen fans with their own, unique piece of Grazy.

It was the perfect day. The sun was shining, the punters were smiling and the line-up was the best Canberra has ever seen. It was clearly time for Groovin’ The Moo 2010 at the University of Canberra (UC).

As the gates opened onto the UC ovals, the punters streamed in to a barrage of beats and smiles. The line-up was strong from start to finish and patrons were quick to migrate to the three stages of the festival.

Make Poverty History Concert

The University of Canberra has joined a nationwide campaign against global poverty and to celebrate the University’s entertainment branch, UC LIVE! is hosting a FREE concert headlined by two huge names in Australian Music – Evermore and Blue King Brown. A Show To Make You Smile @ Tuggeranong Arts Centre

In their first public performance, the six-piece troupe will be joined by actors, dancers and other artists who, under the guidance of accomplished theatre identity Adam Hadley, will bring a distinctive and absurd element to the show.

Recently returned to Canberra, front man for the act and well-known local singer-songwriter Rafe Morris said A Show To Make You Smile will feature a mix of old favourites and new material.
