Wintervention
City Renewal Authority, ACT Government and Show Pony Events are bringing Canberra’s most coveted winter attraction, Wintervention back for 2021. Civic Square will once again be transformed into an open-air ice-skating arena from Friday 25 June until Sunday 11 July over the school holiday period. The markets will run across two weekends and will welcome a range of fashion, art, craft and design stalls from local traders. Stars on Ice will also be performing every Friday and Saturday and Sunday. For food, warm up with local favourites Tikka Stand, Neat St. Coffee, La Empanada and Big River Distilling.

French Christmas Markets
Transforming the National Rose Gardens into a French winter wonderland, enjoy a taste of France in winter with a Christmas in July Market over the first weekend in July. Walk through wooden chalets filled with tasty French delicacies such as melted raclette, macaroons and crepes while sipping on champagne or mulled wine and looking through the gift stalls. A selection of Christmas movies will also be screening outdoors as well as a snow lane with real Christmas trees and snow guns creating the most magical feel.
