You may have seen Dining Dome pop up around Canberra, offering a truly unique dining experience by partnering up with local venues. As they are constantly moving around, here are three places currently where you can have your own dining dome experience.

1. Water’s Edge

Set on the picturesque shores of Lake Burley Griffin, enjoying outdoor(ish) dining at Modern Australian restaurant Water’s Edge. For a limited time only, they are hosting an exclusive Dining Dome Degustation for 2-10 guests with your own personal waiter. The 5-course lunch with an optional wine pairing includes refined dishes such as confit salmon with celeriac remoulade, fermented black garlic and spiced dukkah seeds, chicken breast with smoked aubergine puree and orange pudding with a mixed nut crumb and raisin ice cream.

2. Lake George Winery

Enjoy a unique winery experience dining by the vines in a dome at Lake George Winery. Hosting 6-12 guests, get your friends together and enjoy a 3-course menu from their Westering restaurant with an optional wine pairing from the estate. Sip on pinot noir with a confit duck, enjoy a pork cutlet with a glass of tempranillo and end on a white chocolate pannacotta with rose.

3. Wildbrumby Distillery

If you’re planning a trip to the snow, make sure to stop past Wildbrumby Distillery on the way. Offering a cosy ‘Schnappy Igloo’ to drink schnapps and strudel, enjoy the winter’s sun without that sharp breeze in the confides of your own dome.
