#RoadTripPledge – an Australian regeneration promise

Online holiday house rental website Stayz has created a pledge to support regional towns and families impacted by the Summer bushfires and then Covid-19 travel bans. The Australia’s feel-good movement is a promise to support tourism in regional Australian towns of all sizes after a devastating 6-months.

Stayz is offering for a limited time $100 VISA gift cards which can be used in impacted regional towns. Travellers simply take the #RoadTripPledge, make a booking for over $1000 at a great Aussie destination and claim their gift card. (Available for the first 1000 bookings in Australia, to put $100,000 in the back pocket of communities that need it most).

Bondi Festival just 3 hours away

Sydney’s all-ages winter festival will get a spring awakening when Bondi Festival returns from 26 September – 10 October after having been rescheduled from July. The 2020 festival has been reimagined, designed to inject arts, culture and a little bit of joy back into visitors. Best of all for us Canberrans, it’s an easy commute that doesn’t involve going through an airport.

Bondi Festival is an arts festival and all-ages adventure zone that erupts into life every year at the world’s most famous beach. Celebrated over 15 jam-packed days the program will feature an assortment of breath-taking performances, laugh out loud shows, immersive experiences, and out-there family fun.

This year’s festival will continue to showcase an incredible arts program, as well as family friendly fun including the Bondi Vista Ferris Wheel and a brand new attraction, the Bondi Roller Rink. Each step through the iconic suburb will unveil new experiences with local businesses and storefronts transformed into temporary theatres for artists to amaze with mind-bending shows.
