Canberra’s annual Craft Beer & Cider Festival is preparing for another day of brews, street food and live entertainment. Kicking off at 11am on Saturday 16 March outside Mercure Canberra, head down to explore over 40 local and interstate businesses with up to 250 craft beers, ciders and spirits on offer.

This year, expect taps pouring some of Australia’s most popular beers including Balter Brewing, Mountain Goat and 4 Pines Brewing, with special note to our locals BentSpoke and Cypher Brewing. For those who are yet to discover their love for beer, make sure to check out the festival’s range of spirit and wine stalls including Ambrosia Distillery and Mount Majura Vineyard.

As usual, to complement the tastings, there will be an extensive range of popular food providers offering the ultimate beer combo, including BBQ meat, nachos, burgers, fish & chips and more.

Throughout the day, live music and DJs will be mixing cool tunes and kids activities including face painting and a jumping castle will be around to keep the little ones entertained.

Adding to an exciting lineup of events on the day, it’s the perfect place for pre-footy burgers and beers before the first NRL Raiders game of the season or the return of Canberra’s Skyfire event after a five-year hiatus.
