Lambert Vineyards
Lambert Vineyards is a state of the art winery, cellar door and restaurant located at Wamboin, 30km northeast of Canberra City.
Enjoy premium wine tastings and an exquisite meal in the modern winery building. The chef, Chris Whitlock, formerly sous chef at Grazing at Gundaroo, has created a menu to perfectly match the wonderful selection of wines. The extensive menu can best be described as Modern Australian, and it utilises fresh seasonal and regional produce.
We are very proud to announce that we have won the award for “Best Restaurant in a Winery” in 2009. We would like to thank all of our customers for supporting us in 2008 -2009 and making it possible for us to earn this prestigious accolade.
Lambert Vineyards houses a stylish tasting bar and a terrace overlooking the vines and the Wamboin valley, and a cosy lounge area with an open fire. The venue is well suited for private functions or small group seminars.
A large range of Lambert Vineyards wines are available by the glass as well as the bottle in the restaurant. Wines include: Riesling (dry, sweet and dessert style), Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Rose, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.
Lambert Vineyards has received numerous wine awards and recently received a 4 star rating in the James Halliday Australian Wine Companion 2010 Edition.
