Enlighten 2012

This March, ENLIGHTEN comes to Canberra over four days to cast the nation’s capital into a new light. Over two weekends, 35 events at 11 venues will highlight the nation’s capital. Events include exclusive late night exhibitions, tours and talks, behind the scenes insights and unique dining opportunities.

Back by popular demand, five of Canberra’s most iconic buildings will also feature stunning architectural projections, masterminded by professional partner The Electric Canvas. The displays will feature local artists’ interpretations of what each of the celebrated attractions represents to the community.

The ENLIGHTEN Entertainment Precinct within the Parliamentary Triangle will be the buzzing hub of the event, featuring live music acts and performances, quirky activities and mouth-watering food and beverages. Locals are bound to be impressed and visitors surprised as they come to see Canberra in a whole new light.
