Less than one year after opening their doors, HARVAC’s WILMA has been named in the Gourmet Traveller’s Top 82 Restaurants in Australia for 2023’

Exclusively listed in the top 5 ACT restaurants, amongst the most prestigious of the Australian dining scene, WILMA’s inclusion comes with immense pride, gratitude and appreciation for the industry and everyone involved.

“I believe that the biggest recognition to come out of the Gourmet Traveller awards this year is Canberra’s assurgent stamp on the nation’s dining scene. To have 5 ACT restaurants recognised in countries best 82 is huge,” says HARVAC Managing Director, Peter Harrington.

The latest addition to one of Canberra’s biggest hospitality groups, joining Akiba, Loquita and Sage Dining Rooms, WILMA has been rapidly established as an iconic contemporary dining hotspot.

Offering a progressive Asian barbeque experience in the heart of Canberra, WILMA’s modern BBQing techniques utilises an offset smoker and coals fuelled by Australian timbers, and incorporates native and locally sourced ingredients into your favourite Asian flavours.

The restaurant’s menu boasts the likes of roasted duck, char siu pork and a chilli beef short rib as well as fresh sashimi, oysters and elevated bar snacks.

“To make this exceptional list of restaurants less than a year after opening is truly humbling. Our bold concept has been received with open arms and we look forward to continuing to represent the culinary scene in this great city,” says HARVAC Group Executive Chef, Brendan Hill.
