After more than 50 artist applications, 10,000 votes and a grand final event, OutInCanberra is pleased to announce the Sound Search 2010 winners – Skin & Bones (DJ) and Fun Machine (band). These Canberra musicians have won a spot on the Foreshore 2010 line-up and will perform alongside Temper Trap and Tiësto!
Skin & Bones consists of two young influential politicians from the nation’s capital. Notorious for their ‘left wing’ policies and scandalous private lives, the pair of troublemakers enjoy a spot of fly fishing, caramel slice and glitchy electro rave in their spare time.
The Fun Machine kids really know how to let their hair down. When asked what the band was all about, the zany trio said, “we basically do what we want, which is dancing with as much of a crowd as we can motivate.” It’s the kind of music you’ll just have to bust a move to.
