A sparkling experience at Lark Hill Winery – Friday 10 July 11.30am

Join winemaker Chris Carpenter for a dive into the mysteries of making Sparkling wine. Start by learning how to “Sabre” a bottle of Sparkling, then sip our 2011 Sparkling Chardonnay/Pinot Noir Brut as we take you through the process of making Sparkling wine using “Methode Traditionelle”. Relax over a light lunch gazing out over our Vineyard and take a bottle of our Sparkling Brut home afterwards.

Who doesn’t love a cozy Friday night in with great wine and fantastic company! Purchase a tasting pack to join Canberra Wines & Spirit Merchants on Friday the 10th of July for a live virtual tasting with Hamish Young from Mada Wines and Emma Shaw from Pique Nique. Feel free to invite company over to share in the live virtual tasting and make it a night to enjoy! The event will take place via Zoom.

NFSA Live: Shame + Filmmaker Q&A – Friday 10 July 6-8pm

NFSA Live events present a free online screening of Shame (1988), starring Deborra-lee Furness. The film will be followed by a live Q&A session with director Steve Jodrell and hosted by NFSA Program Manager Karina Libbey. Following the live stream, Steve and Karina will discuss the making of the film, its themes and contemporary relevance, and the digital restoration process. You will be able to ask them questions via live chat on the night, or send them in advance to [email protected] by Thursday July 9.
