21-year-old Perth based artist Troye Sivan launched his career on YouTube, evolving from a humble teenager uploading his music as a creative outlet, to a global YouTube sensation where his channel has gathered four million subscribers and over 241 million views.

Sivan has since gone on to score an international record deal with EMI in 2013 and has become a force to be reckoned with, last year’s Wild EP hit number one in Australia and top five in the US and UK. While his debut album Blue Neighbourhood debuted in the US top 10. The album features amazing collaborators like Jack Antonoff, Grimes and vocal features from Australia hip-hop star Allday and electro-pop singer Tkay Maidza.

2016 has seen even bigger ups for Troye, with his nominations and wins for several awards at the YouTube Music Awards, Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards and EMA’s, and he’s recently been titled Outstanding Music Artist at the GLAAD Media Awards.

Promoting his new amazing album Blue Neighbourhood, Troye has embarked upon his headline tour across both the US, UK and Europe before finally returning home to Australia and his local fans.

Sivan will be performing across Australia this August. Having only previously played headline shows in Sydney and Perth, the tour marks his first headline performance in the nation’s capital! And with sold out shows in Sydney and Perth, the tour is a unique chance to see and hear the amazing vocal talent that has everyone in the world talking:

Canberrans can expect tracks from Sivan’s Blue Neighbourhood album to be showcased on the night. Big records such as Youth, Wild, Fools and his current single Talk Me Down will definitely feature. While some of his earlier music such as Happy Little Pill is likely to be in the mix – some US shows experienced cover performances of Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself, which would of been incredible and hopefully we will get to hear it too in Canberra!
