After more than 50 years of celebrating folk culture The National Folk Festival has changed locations and will now be celebrated at Queanbeyan on the Easter weekend 2021.

This year we look at a re-imagined folk festival where focus is towards supporting musicians and local businesses. From Saturday 3 to Sunday 4 April Queanbeyan will come alive with a vibrant program of 22 indoor concerts and outdoor entertainment as part of Good Folk – a folk experience in Queanbeyan. The two epic days will be held at classic Queanbeyan venues including The Q, Bicentennial Hall, Royal Hotel and Campbell & George, with local names such as Bentspoke and Lerida Estate sponsoring the event.

The festival will host performances from an impressive list of local and national artists, including 2021 Golden Guitar Awards ‘Female Artist of the Year’ Fanny Lumsden, Central Coast trio Little Quirks, one of Australia’s most enduring musical ensembles, Mikelangelo and the Black Sea Gentlemen and Queanbeyan’s very own Omar Musa.
