Canberra’s iconic waterfront restaurant The Boat House is turning very sweet (and naughty) for two nights only this August.

Their most decadent offering yet, the fine-dining restaurant invites you to an evening of pure indulgence over a 6-course dessert-only degustation menu curated by their specialist pastry chef.

On Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 August, enjoy two canapé-style desserts paired with a tongue-tingling French 75 cocktail, followed by a seated menu of four unique dessert courses, all carefully matched with alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage options.

Featuring notes from classic French dishes, as well as flavours from Asia, explore the sweet side of life with refined, delicate desserts such as ‘coconut dynasty’ with coconut, pandan crémeux and almond sponge with a coconut gimlet, a tarte aux pommes with vanilla wafers, poached apples, calvados crème and apple & caramel ice-cream with a glass of Rockford Cane Cut Semillon, and a rich ‘cocoa-coma’ with dark chocolate mousse, caramelised bannofee and burnt white chocolate sauce with a classic espresso martini.
