This November, the city and country are uniting for a two-night all-inclusive culinary collaboration between two powerhouse venues.

Owner and chef of Sydney’s acclaimed inner-city restaurant Firedoor Lennox Hastie, will be joining executive chef Tristan Rebbettes of luxury Braidwood estate Mona Farm for an exclusive 38 person event, featuring a five-course fire-inspired menu.

From Monday 7 to Wednesday 9 November, guests are invited to enjoy a luxurious stay in one of the guest houses at Mona Farm’s 124-acre award-winning estate, culminating with a theatrical Firedoor x Mona Farm menu as the hero event.

Showcasing local produce and seasonal ingredients throughout the collaborative menu, including the Farm’s own home-grown produce, Tristan’s smoked ricotta, Wessex Saddleback sausage and his signature dry-aged beef will also be making an appearance during the evening.

“I’m looking forward to creating an incredible experience at the beautiful Mona Farm come November. Braidwood is a wonderful part of the world, home to some of my favourite produce, and I’m looking forward to working with Tristan on an exciting menu,” says Lennox.

Included in the ticket price, guests will enjoy a lavish itinerary including a Mona Farm signature spritz and grazing board on arrival, a three-course dinner from Tristan’s spring ‘Guest House Menu’ designed to be enjoyed in the privacy of your room, breakfast each morning, complimentary mini-bar and activities including sculpture and garden tours, fitness sessions and Mona Farm’s iconic Interactive Farm Tour.

This high-profile collaboration signals the beginning of an exciting series of ‘world-class’ events introduced by Mona Farm.

“We’re excited to deliver an experience that challenges what’s expected of a traditional chef collaboration or farm stay. Across all areas of the business, we pride ourselves on our contemporary approach to classic concepts and more importantly, our ability to surprise and delight our guests,” says Mona Farm General Manager, Romy Besnard.

Tickets are $1,450 per person and will be released on Wednesday 14 September at 10am. To book, call Mona Farm on (02) 7202 5638 or secure your tickets instantly via https://monafarm.com.au/firedoor
