It’s amazing to think that at this time of year we are on the verge of heading into another rugby season. It’s still hot, isn’t it? Well, it’s a great opportunity to enjoy a warm evening at GIO Stadium Canberra on Friday 26 February for the first home game of the season.
GIO Stadium will host a wealth of blockbuster matches in the new 18-team Super Rugby competition. The Brumbies will be hoping to fill their home ground for each match as they take on competition heavyweights the Hurricanes, Chiefs, Crusaders and Bulls as well as brand new Japanese outfit the Sunwolves. Fans should also pencil in the local derbies against traditional rivals the NSW Waratahs, Queensland Reds, Melbourne Rebels and Western Force.
