A Decade of Death: Mooseheads

For the 10th year in a row, Mooseheads is transforming the club once again for Canberra’s biggest Halloween night. Brace yourselves for special effects and frights all night long. Smirnoff is teaming up with Mooseheads to award a massive prize for best dressed, and $5 Smirnoff Double Blacks will be running from 10pm-Midnight. Make sure you can handle your scare (and your vodka) when you attend this one, because it’s going to get freaky.

Flaunt it & Haunt it Vaudeville Show: Polit Bar Manuka

Canberra’s best vaudeville artists prepare to ‘Flaunt It and Haunt It’ at Polit Bar this Halloween. The living dead take over Manuka’s cocktail bar for a night of shiny hilarity, 80s leotards, electro-pop, and punk-rock cabaret. Special guests DJ Tiger Lily and Krewd are joining to bring Canberra a party like no other, in an immersive cabaret experience. Get ready for an award-winning line up of theatre, comedy, burlesque, and music. The audience is invited to dress up in their ghouliest best- best-dressed prizes will be given to those that really flaunt it and haunt it.

Boogong- A Creepy Carnival: Halloween at Googong

Googong is hosting their annual Creepy Carnival event for some Halloween fun with the family! This year’s twisted circus theme is set to be the biggest and scariest yet. Dress up in your frightening fancy dress for an evening of live music, entertainment, food vendors, stage performers, and a fireworks finale!

Halloween Preview Screening: Dendy Cinemas

A spooky movie screening is coming to Dendy especially for Halloween! From master filmmaker Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name, I Am Love, A Bigger Splash) comes a reinterpretation of the iconic Giallo horror by Dario Argento. Meticulously crafted, the filmmaker’s reimagining of the horror classic is amongst the most anticipated films of the year.

Dress up in your favourtie zombie or Halloween themed attire for a cause this Halloween! In support of the Brain Foundation, their mission is to infect the Canberra city with a family-friendly event for all ages. The event will showcase local artists and performers at the start to end, with spooky shows at Glebe Park to a monster mash at Garema Place to finish off. Prizes awarded for best-dressed kids and adults and an after party at Reload bars for those who want to kick on through the night.
