Having a soft spot for pooches, Mercure has offered pet-friendly rooms for several years now, and after many requests they have teamed up with Guest of Honour Pet Chaperones to be able to extend the hospitality to the pups of the family.
With a range of different spaces to tie the knot at Mercure, you can’t go wrong with the beautifully manicured garden and lawns of their private courtyard gardens, that also have direct access to the pet-friendly rooms.
The lovely ladies and dog trainers from Guest of Honour Pet Chaperones will be there on the day to provide all the services necessary in making sure your pup can be a part of your day, without the added stress on you, letting you focus on the ceremony and reception.
Their chaperoning services include, ‘TLC’, transport to the ceremony, chaperoning pre and post wedding photos, pop in at the reception, post wedding transportation, pet sitting until midnight and to 10am the following day. And to make sure the entire day goes smoothly, the ladies visit couples or chat via Zoom to prepare for the wedding and discuss how your dog can be involved.
Couples can also choose to go for the full VIP pet chaperone package that includes transportation to photo locations, chaperoning at the function, walks, overnight stays with the dog and next day chaperoning if the couple are planning an after-wedding party.
A range of packages are available starting at $490, while Mercure Canberra pet-friendly accommodation is available from $145 per night.
