Corella

Recently spreading its wings on Lonsdale Street, the minds behind Assembly have opened up across the street as Corella – a restaurant and bar that showcases a delicate modern Australian menu, focusing on native ingredients. Experience dishes like plum cured kingfish with blood lime, chili and chives, native duck a l’Orange with bunya nut puree, sunrise lime and jus gras, and coconut pannacotta with Geraldton wax, macadamia and yuzu sesame, paired with a refreshing drink from their cocktail list.

Lanterne Botanical Bar

Campbell’s new neighbourhood bar, Lanterne Botanical invites you to join them for an afternoon or late-night drink in the greenhouse room of their Southeast Asian restaurant, Lanterne Rooms. Sit back and enjoy the night sky with an elegant botanical highball or a glass of wine in hand and a few share plates from the kitchen.

Wakefield’s Bar & Wine Room

The iconic Edgar’s Inn have just expanded their powerhouse group of restaurants at Ainslie Shops with a trendy new bar. Wakefield’s Bar & Wine Room focuses on Australian wines, local produce and live entertainment, married together with a vintage styled interior. Perfect for a late-night drink, or intimate dinner with a menu that features lamb riblets, hand-made pasta and a delectable apple tart tartin.

ILY 

As popular café eatery Morning Glory shut their doors, they promised it wouldn’t be goodbye forever, opening only a few months later again under the name ILY. Serving simple, comfort food with a twist, ILY is open all day for casual dining that doesn’t compromise on delicious, creative style cooking. Already becoming their famous breaky dish, the breakfast gnocchi with bacon, pecorino and a poached egg is a must-try, while for dinner heart-warming dishes like roast chicken with spinach, confit garlic and artichokes, and roast potato pie feature prominently, being sure to end your day on a high note.

My Sabor

Meaning ‘flavour’ in Portuguese, My Sabor definitely lives up to its name, serving an ever-changing menu of Australian tapas food with an Asian twist that are all bursting with a delicious array of flavours. From the minds behind the Old Canberra Inn and Queenies, comes Dickson Taphouse, a classic pub eatery with a big love of beer. 1980 Chinese Restaurant

Following renovation and a new menu, formally Spicy Ginger Café transformed into 1980 Chinese Restaurant. Continuing to serve restaurant favourites like cumin lamb and dry chilli chicken, they have taken a new look on seafood dishes, now boasting a large range of seafoods from whole fish and king prawns to lobster, crab and abalone.
