When our neighbours across the border in Queanbeyan throw a party, we’re always happy to make an appearance. Especially when hot street food is involved.
Just a Quick Hop Over the Border
This Saturday, Queanbeyan Park will be packed with colour, music and food from across the globe.
Expect food stalls serving dishes from fresh pizza and spicy street food to sweet treats worth braving the cold for.
For Canberra locals, it’s an easy trip over the border and a very good reason to leave the house.
Non-Stop Beats and Market Stalls
While you eat, the main stage will feature local multicultural dance and performance groups throughout the day. Expect plenty of colour, movement and music to inspire you to take your hands out of your jacket pockets.
Once you’re done watching the performances, you can wander through the market stalls and pick up a few local finds.
Leave the Pups at Home
Before you pack the crew into the car, here’s a quick heads-up: leave your furry friends at home for this one. Because the park gets very busy, pets are not allowed unless they are registered service or assistance animals.
