Paper Lions have recently released their sophomore full-length album, ‘My Friends’, recorded with producer Howard Redekopp (Tegan and Sara, The New Pornographers, Mother Mother), and kicked off their Australian Tour late last year!
Since forming, the lads from the small Canadian Province have written a fairy tale of success. They have received over twenty Canadian East Coast Music Award nominations (six in 2014 alone) and taken home Best Pop EP at the 2013 Independent Music Awards, whilst receiving consistent airplay across the board on stations such as ABC, NBC, MuchMusic, MTV and AUX, just to name a few achievements.
Whilst touring throughout Canada and aboard, Paper Lions have shared stages with the likes of CAKE, Tokyo Police Club, Hollerado, The Rheostatics, No Joy, Hot Hot Heat and Electric Six. Oh, and they’ve also performed for Duchess Camilla & Prince Charles. Cool!
