Canberra pop up wine bar, The Pop Inn are doing things a little differently in 2021, and to celebrate they are throwing a community party.
The bar’s relaunch will coincide with their fourth anniversary and is to capture the evolution of the inn and the idea of having a little ‘getaway’ while staying in Canberra.
“We want the Pop Inn to be a nostalgic reminder of holiday fun – a place to get away while we can’t actually get away,” says Founder, Kimberly Ohayon.
“We have so many gorgeous spots around Canberra that allow us to create a beautiful experience right where we are.”
The Pop Inn’s weekend long celebration will take place across Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 of February in one of their favourite spots, Bowen Park.
Customers can enjoy cheese and wine tastings, a pop-up postcard station, lawn games and live entertainment, along with opportunities to win prizes with a scavenger-hunt style raffle and lucky door prizes.
As they enter their fifth year, you can expect more locations, more entertainment and more collaborations to enhance The Pop Inn experience.
“We’re excited to reveal more community collaborations with local wineries, small businesses, the arts sector and other tourist attractions around Canberra,” says Kimberly.
