In February, Canberra was gripped by news of fire again ripping through another of our historic buildings – and one that again housed many of Canberra’s favourite businesses.
One of the victims of the Sydney Building fire was Salsabor Dance Studio – located directly above Coo Restaurant (the unfortunate source of the fire). There was little chance Salsabor would be able to quickly return to their established premises, so the hunt was on for another convenient location to continue classes and events for their loyal legion of leggy dancers.
The Salsabor team were very excited to find a great space not too far away – on the first floor of 175 City Walk – just a couple of blocks away from the original premises and still convenient for parking.
They’ve got everything you’d expect from a top-quality dance school, including fantastic temperature control, large music and a sound system designed to get your hips and feet moving in no time at all.
Whether you’re a serious dancer or simply want to have some fun learning a new dance style and staying fit, Salsabor Dance Studio has a class for you! Bachata, Salsa, Zouk, Hip Hop, Samba, Belly Dancing, Burlesque, Zumba and Flamenco.
To celebrate the opening of the new studio, Salsabor are offering a free class pass to OutInCanberra readers! If you’ve ever wanted to try one of these styles, this is the perfect time.
To redeem the pass, email [email protected] with details of the class you would like to try and the Salsabor team will get back to you with all the details. Email bookings are essential and must be made by Friday 2 May. For previous/current students, the pass is only valid for classes/styles you have never attended before at Salsabor.
