Film-loving Canberrans are in for a unique opportunity with a special screening at the National Film and Sound Archive.

Not only will movie fans get to see classic flick The Story of the Kelly Gang, the NFSA is transforming the screening into a cinema-going experience straight out of 1906.

The movie will be shown with live music, a narrator – and even special effects.

This new-vintage event will also be recorded for an upcoming documentary series – so you get to star in a movie as well!

The screening is free and will be held on Monday 21 May from 10am to 12pm.
