Experience the very best thoroughbred horse racing at the TAB Melbourne Cup at Thoroughbred Park, Tuesday 5 November.

It’s that time of year again, the race that stops the nation and slows us down the next day too! Thoroughbred Park will be abuzz with live racing, bubbles and new to this year, a market style offering of some of our favourite food/drink vendors.

In between having a punt and complimenting each others pocket squares, take a minute to refuel at one of the deliciously curated food options.

Altina are joining the party for those who prefer all of the party without the hangover. Their zero proof, craft cocktails boast a world of flavour without being sugar heavy. Move over cocktails, this is how the adults have fun and stay healthy while they do it!

For those taking full advantage of their day off, head to the Craft Beer Bar or Sparkling Bar for a glass of bubbles to be the final accessory to your stylised outfit.

Just like some of the handcrafted fascinators taking centre stage at the park, Sonoma Braddon will be handcrafting baked goods for the crowds. Jacko’s Pizza will have their iconic trailer set up, grab a slice when you stroll by – and don’t get sauce on your white shirt.

Our quality driven friends at Spit Shack will be making a debut too, think locally farmed roast lamb and pig from the spit which will be cooking on an open fire all-day – yumm!

As for those with a sweet tooth, indulge at The Italian Traveller gelato van or make your way to the Cannoli Brothers stall. Their fresh fillings and crunchy shell are worth trekking in your heels to get a taste of.

If you haven’t yet, don’t forget to put your leave form in at work and head out to the biggest day on local tracks. Mark the day in the calendar, splurge on a new outfit and enjoy a day of high-speed fun. Race goers can enjoy a lively vibe of non-stop entertainment while making their way through the equally fun mix of friendly food vendors.
