A café for those on a serious time crunch or who just love the convenience of a grab-and-go lunch, be out as quick as you came in with Canberra’s new self-serve café, Dash.

Where convenience meets deliciousness, select from a range of freshly-made meals, snacks and drinks before scanning the barcode with the café’s self-serve iPads.

Located within the CQ Precinct (located on the corner of Mort and Cooyong Street), Dash is bought to you by the creative minds at Fixate Group (WineRoom, Gather Cafe and Blackbird Bar), led by culinary team Josh Smith Thirkell (ex QT Hotels and Resorts) and Matt Barton (ex Tinker Tailor).

Crafting a menu that is practically begging to be taken in a doggy bag, if you didn’t get time to make breakfast at home, pick up delicious morning delights such as brekkie bagels and burritos, overnight protein oats, fruit cups, juice and Lonsdale St Roasters coffee. Then, by the time lunch rolls around, grab delicious meals including Moroccan spiced cauliflower salad, poke bowls, smoked BBQ brisket with mash, and the classics like house-made beef barley and sausage rolls.

And, just in case you do have 15-30 minutes to spare to enjoy your meal, grab your goodies and take a seat in the café.

Sharing the love in more ways than one, if you like what you taste, make sure to use Dash’s loyalty system and perhaps order a box for the office with catering also available.
