Touring the big cities of Australia in previous years, the Glenfiddich Whisky Wanderer is finally making its way to Canberra from 7-19 March.

A first-of-its-kind luxury whisky lounge on wheels, the vintage 1972 Leyland Double Decker has been decked out with a premium fully serviced bar, lounge area and seated tasting and dining facilities, offering a truly unique single malt journey.

Taking over Odgers Lane in the city, with our local Molly bar, think intimate tastings, delectable food pairings and chats about all things whisky with the knowledgeable team roadies! If you’re yet to go on your own personal whisky journey, the Whiskey Wanderer offers the ideal introduction, as well as something new for whisky enthusiasts.

Working with Molly during their stay, there will be two highly anticipated masterclasses. The first – a world-class tasting of four 18-26 year old whiskies with renowned brand ambassador Ross Blainey as your host. And the second – a single malt masterclass with Ross, sampling through four whiskies. Both masterclasses will also include a whisky cocktail on arrival, a charcuterie platter and a bottle of Glenfiddich whisky to take home.

“There’s an undeniable and growing interest in whisky throughout Australia, so we want to bring a touch of the Glenfiddich distillery experience to Canberra. The Whisky Wanderer is the perfect accompaniment for our wonderful liquid, and in true Glenfiddich style, we wanted to do something with a difference,” says Blainey.
