Calling all you wine lovers of Canberra to raise your glasses because The Canberra Wines Laneways Festival is back for another year! This festival will take ending the week with a good ole’ glass of wine to a whole new level.

The best of Canberra’s very own wine region is coming to the heart of Civic- and it’s something for our city to brag about. Over 15 wines that we know and love or are yet to try, will be showcased in the lit-up laneway including Collector Wines, Lake George Wines, Mount Majura Vineyard and loads more.

Sample one or sample them all, because there will be the opportunity to purchase by the glass on the night, or by the bottle to take home, with specials on offer from our local wine vendors.

Over two nights on the 23rd and 24th, Tocumwal Lane in Civic will be buzzing with stalls and a family-friendly atmosphere from 5-9pm. You can expect plenty of delicious food on offer to complement the region’s finest wine, and a relaxed ambiance with local music talent performing under the fairy lights.

Entry is only $30, and children under 18 are free. Tickets include unlimited entry for both nights (that’s right, unlimited), wine tastings, and a collectible tasting glass to bring home.

Whether you know the difference between a fruity, floral, well-rounded, zesty, spicy, earthy, structured, dry wine with finesse, or simply like the taste of crushed grapes- this event will make you walk out feeling like one with the vineyards.

Ending a busy week with local wines, laneways and food? Wine not!
