The Canberra Truffle Festival are ready to celebrate one of the most spectacular local foodie seasons with an official launch dinner at the 5-star Hotel Realm this weekend.

On Friday 1 July, join them for a three-course dinner paired with premium wines featuring an abundance of premium black winter truffles. DOMA Group executive chef Fabien Wagnon who has trained in Michelin-starred restaurants has created an exquisite line up of dishes. Starting with canapés and arrival drinks, enjoy an amuse bouche of beef and truffle consommé, pan fried scallops with serrano, celeriac puree, confit chicken wings, frisee and truffle for entrée, eye fillet beef with mushroom puree, desire and coppana, truffle butter and madeira jus for main, then finally a truffle cheesecake with truffle popcorn ice cream for dessert.

Hosted by Cam Sullings from Mix 106.3, along with your meal enjoy entertainment and conversation with truffle growers, winemakers and food producers. Hear from Chef Fabien, Mount Majura Vineyard’s Fergus McGhie and L’Air du Wombat truffle farmer Tricia Kwast on growing the world-class delicacies, creating wines and cooking with local produce.
